Stepping Stone Transitional Housing

The Stepping Stone Transitional Housing Program was created in 1998, to accommodate the needs of New Haven families who were homeless or at risk of homelessness. The program was located at 660 Winchester Avenue, and offered families case management services in a safe, supportive environment that fosters the growth and self-sufficiency of each family unit for up to 12 months.

Due to changes in Federal and State funding priorities, CCA is not now able to support a transitional housing program model like Stepping Stone. However, we continue to seek opportunities to re-fund and re-start Stepping Stone in a manner that is consistent with its original mission.

CCA looks forward to announcing the next chapter of Stepping Stone in the near future!
