Volunteer Opportunities
Here at CCA, we have a small, but gifted staff of dedicated individuals. Still, we can always use more people to help with the work we do here.
We consider time a valuable donation. The following is a list of ways you can help with your time.
• Help with answering the phone or other administrative duties
• Mentoring or tutoring a child, coordinating or helping with a special project or arranging a program for children as part of our After-School Program
• Providing childcare for parents while they are in our workshops learning new skills
• Using your carpentry / building skills to repair or improve our facilities
• Providing our residents with computer hardware and software training and support
• Cooking for special events
• Providing cleaning services for apartments and common areas
• Assisting with fundraising events and mailings
• Holding food drives, sorting food, preparing and distributing baskets as part of our Thanksgiving food drive
• We also have opportunities for groups to volunteer, such as our Spring and Fall cleanups
